Nice one! In addition to the Rose Robin there is a Spotted Pardalote (beep beep), Wonga Pigeon (distant woop woop woop woop), a Grey Shrike Thrush (louder call) and Yellow Thornbill (high pitched chittering). There is another bird I can't hear but can't put my finger on it.

I was uncertain myself and went back for a closer check. It is definitely a Variegated F-w by the absence of black through the eye. We identified them in the vicinity some time ago but never seen them on our property before so this is a new one for us. Thank you.

I'm curious about whether I can see a bit of chestnut on the shoulder of the male in breeding plumage and if so, if this could be a Variegated Fairywren pair?
