I don't think this is Macrobathra bigerella which has a yellowish stripe along inner margin from base of forewings joining the white patches. I think this moth is more like one of these

Thanks @WendyEM, I agree but I'm not sure that sighting 4461948 currenly identified as Macrobathra melanomitra is the same.

No they are not the same. I think the above moth is closer to Macrobathra melanomitra than sighting 4461948 which I suspect is not even Macrobathra - it's wings are broader. Thanks Ian I have fixed the number.

I'm not sure this is M. melanomitra compared to the BOLD (Hobern) evidemce given the labial palps are different, there seems to be much more white at the base of the forewing here, and the first white band seems more oblique with ragged edges.
