I cannot get enough clarity to know if this knobbly-looking ‘lichen’ is simply the fruiting bodies of the flatter lichen (LHS in photo 1) or a separate type of lichen in it own right, (best seen as such in photos 3 & 4).
Again as with all these ‘shade cloth canopy’ * lichen sightings, I know too little to be clear I am not conflating species, whether within, or across ,sightings. The sightings relevant to that comment are: 4647881, 4647883, 4647896, 4647907, 4647914, 4647961, 4647975, 4648051, 4648056 & 4648060 (this one).
* This lichen is yet another which colonized a shade cloth canopy. (The canopy collapsed a few years ago and a substantial amount of leaf litter has accumulated in the depression formed in the top, with several ferns & other plants colonizing the underside).
