Known to me as Goodenia, this common local native sprawls across the ground but does not appear to throw roots from the nodes of its extensions. Small yellow flowers with some brown colouration of the throat and distinctive leaves. Favours shade, but can handle ground that is dry for extended periods.
The 1st 3 photos are close-ups on leaves & flowers, with a seed pod featuring in photo 2 (roughly middle & towards the top). Photo 4 depicts how the plant is most often seen, and photo 5 shows a couple of young seedlings.
