The subject of this sighting is the grass with the green fluffy conical flowerhead either side of another (mostly dry) grass & seedhead at the front (which I understand to be a Whiskey grass) or the green strappy grass to the LHS rear (photo 1).
This sighting’s grass has long narrow moderately soft leaves at its base, as well as coming off at right angles to the flowerhead stem. The green flowerhead ‘hairs’ appear to have red tips to them.
There is an immature seed head, and possibly a flowerhead to the RHS photos 1 & 2, and the bud of one 2/3rds down also on RHS.
Photos 3, 4 & 5 were attempts to get different angles, and more clarity on its leaves.
