User's notes

At least some of the planted sedges are surviving despite grazing, may be more, I did not check the whole area. (The guarded ones are a lot bigger as expected.)

We have green guards left from carex planting at the dam and Ive got some extra stakes since yesterday so may be we can protect those few hanging in. Should we have a M@F group exercise a.) more eyes see more b.) share lesson with the crew (plantings must be maintained, it is not: plant and forget).

Counted 33 unguarded ones along the gully. Did not count the guarded ones.

Excellent! thanks Barb for checking. Good to know that of the 40 planted Carex many made it despite the heavy grazing pressure.
