This large Wattle is the dominant Wattle species in this area (Copmanhurst, NSW North Coast). This specimen is fully grown, (photo 1), in a competitive environment for sun exposure. In a more open situation this tree would be 2/3 as tall and the canopy could have been ~4+ times as wide, and much denser. The trunk would also be thicker than in photos 2 & 3. Photo 4 shows leaves from a younger specimen, and photo 5, the trunk of a younger specimen.
