This is another specimen of the dominant Wattle species in this area (Copmanhurst, NSW North Coast). (see Sighting 4662071 for another specimen in a location where there is more competition for light). Photo 1 shows the entire tree and photo 2 shows the canopy. Photos 3 & 4 show the leaves, and their immediate “branches” ((including some now-dead ones) as well as the furrowed bark on the boughs. Photo 5 shows a close-up of the lower trunk which has the same furrowed bark as the boughs.
