Another grey & moderately rough barked large gum (photo 1), these photos were taken in days of rain, during a break, so the large dark patches on the bark are reflecting residual moisture (photos 1, 2 & 3). The lighter grey is the normal ‘dry bark’ colour. Photos 2 & 3 show the upper & lower trunk bark respectively. Photo 4 looks to the upper branches and canopy (still with some wet bark), and photo 5 was an attempt to capture leaf shapes and the plethora of dead twigs in some parts.
