A very tiny fly with an overall lustre of metallic yellow-green. The abdomen has thin alternating black and (possibly) white bands running from side to side (photos 2 & 3). The wings are clear with 2 patches of black-dark grey towards the ends of the wings. The eyes and upper legs look to be yellow, (photos 1 & 2), but this could be just angle of light on any sheen that might be there (photo 4). Photo 5 is marked to show where this tiny fly is, in the context of the large leaves it is on. It is perched on the leaf of the fragrantly flowered Common Silkpod, Parsoonia straminea (the subject of sighting 4640075). I believe it is the same species as at sighting 4672621. Possibly a Green Longlegged Fly (Austrosciapus connexus)
