User's notes

This is a medium-small hopper (?grasshopper?, ?katydid?), which is green all over, except for some lines running along the dorsal surface, the eyes which appear white. Also the antennae and the spike are a red-tan colour, (all photos). The spike appears to end in a green-brown colour and the abdomen is a more yellow green than the legs or rest of the body. This hopper has a similar shape and form to the one at sighting 4672804, but the colouration and markings are very different. The antennae are about the length of the body, not including the flat spike at its end. An inner black line and an adjacent cream coloured line delineate each side of the thorax on the dorsal surface. The upper abdomen, including the short wings has a dark red-brown line running from back to front down its centre, and on the wings, this line ends in the middle of a pale tan rectangular patch that also runs lengthwise, but only between (?& on?) the wings.
