User's notes

A long and relatively thick bodied mantis, with a relatively slim thorax. This one went through all sorts of gymnastics to avoid having its dorsal side photographed! (photos 3 & 4). The underside, all legs,s and the sides of the body were generally a mid tan colour, with some interesting darker patterning on the lower length of the wing visible (photo 1). The thorax, head, and upper front legs were a greyer tone of the tan colour, and the eyes were grey with a pink tinge to them. Some tiny black-brown spots ran along the centre of the underbelly, progressively decreasing in size from front to back.
