Brought up to love and respect nature, with an amateur entomologist brother who had me collecting specimens from an early age and who has taken many wonderful and carefully labelled photographs on our property. If you want to know about dragonflies or birds, ask me and I'll ask him!

I'm happy to just look, listen, weed and maintain our 40ha of forest, but often can't remember the proper names of things these days thanks to advancing age and some heavy duty oncology treatment. I'm doing my best!
