Hi Tina, @Csteele4 ,

I marvel at how much work is involved for Moderators here, and you have my utmost appreciation and understanding. It's the only way I've been able to access any help with identifying things, so promptness is not a key issue for me, but your care in being accurate is much valued. I still have so many sightings to get posted, and I can see by how the sighting numbers tick over that there's heaps of others being posted too. It is good to know that I'm providing useful info, it's the best I can do in hope of making life easier your end. All the best with your studies and your work,
Warmest Regards,
MazzV

This is a Crabronidae Wasp (Family Crabronidae). Due to the quality of the images, I’m hesitant to take this through to Species-level instead of leaving it at Family-level. However, the antennae shape & scapes; head & eyes shape; thorax & abdomen markings and placement; are all good indicators that this is Ammatomus icarioides & geographic location is a good fit.

I'm sorry that it is taking so long for sightings to be verified - there are only two of us at the moment, and both of us are working and doing Uni. I really appreciate all of your info!
