User's notes

This is known to me as Cats paw (not to be confused with the dreaded weed, Cats claw). A bright yellow-flowered plant, in the style of a Dandelion (photo 1), but with thinner, more solid stems, and which unlike dandelions (which have 1 flowerhead per stem), branches into several flowerheads (photos 2 & 4). A rosette of leaves lies flat to the ground, (photos 4 & 5), from which the tall flower stems emerge. The seeds are long, brown & windblown (photo 3) again in the style of dandelions & other daisies.
