This plant, which I know as Hibbertia, has medium-sized yellow 5-petalled flowers (photos 1, 2 & 4). A prostrate plant (photo 5), this is growing in full sun on very poor sandy soil. The leaves are thick and fleshy like a succulent’s, but hairy (photo 4, also ph 2 & 3).
