User's notes

A medium large black beetle, with no other colour except for the stiff-looking orange hairs in its ‘armpits’ and under the head, some of which are visible from a topside view (photos 1 & 2). The black exoskeleton has lots of tiny indentations on top but is smooth and slightly shinier underneath.
