User's notes

This dragonfly is an all-over brilliant orange-red, with some thin, pale yellow bands around its abdomen, and the very tip of the abdomen is the same pale yellow. There is a mostly-pink metallic sheen to the wings if the light catches it at the right angles. Talking of angles, this one tended to perch, (even on the horizontal plane), with it’s body pointing up in the air at about a 45 degree angle. Apologies for the poor focus in these photos.
