Tripladenia cunninghamii

Herb to 40 cm high, ± glabrous except for scabrous ridges on stems.

 

Leaves ovate to lanceolate, 40–90 cm long, 1–4.5 cm wide, apex acute, base ± cordate, margins ± undulate.

 

Flowers 15–25 mm diam., mauve or pink; peduncle 3–6 cm long; pedicels 1–3 cm long. Tepals 7–12 mm long, 4–7 mm wide, margins ± undulate; basal appendages 2–3 mm long. Stamens 5–6 mm long.

 

Capsule ovoid, wrinkled, 6–8 mm diam.; seeds yellow or brown.
